The club field has a noise limit of

98dB at 9 feet. We risk losing the field if excessive noise results in complaints. It's important that all of us respect our neighbors!!!
Reducing noise is an easy thing to do-- changing your prop often fixes it. If you have questions about this, ask any of the officers.

The 2011 membership cards are in the frequency box. Please remember to pick yours up!!

REMINDER: Please do not exceed 15 mph on the road into the field. The owners' homes are next to the driveway we use to enter the property.

Greg Hahn's "Focus on Competition" column in the July 2010 issue of Model Aviation (p. 132) has some great info on noise reduction. Some of the info is easy to use, and can help reduce the noise we make. Please take a few minutes to read it.

Please remember that only electrics and gliders are allowed to fly before 8:00am

The South Jersey Golden Eagles R/C Club began as the Clayton R/C Club in 1970 and became the South Jersey Golden Eagles in 2001.
We are an AMA chartered club (#4031) and fly on a well manacured 3 acre flying site off of Route 40 in Monroeville, NJ

Our club's members are involved in many types of R/C flying, including sport flying, pattern, giant scale, old timers and micros.
